The engineers went through multiple different designs for this Fiesta ST intercooler, weighing the benefits and downfalls of each. The final design consists of a tube-and-fin style intercooler in order to allow airflow to the radiator and reduce overall weight. The core size is 51-percent larger than stock, and also provides a 25-percent increase in internal core volume. During testing, this Fiesta ST intercooler dropped intake temperatures by a huge 26 F! This Fiesta ST intercooler kit includes air diversion plates to channel air through the cooler for maximum efficiency. The Mishimoto Fiesta ST cold-side intercooler pipe features a CNC-machined sensor flange for the stock pressure sensor, a port for meth injection or a boost gauge, and a silicone hose and CNC plug to allow deletion of the stock sound symposer system. Mishimoto’s Fiesta ST intercooler piping features durable silicone couplers and stainless steel T-bolt clamps for reliable holding power when you’re hitting full boost on a long straight.
