Description
Super Competition Full Length Header; Black Finish; Adj. Race Tube Size 2.125 in. OD x 38 – 46 in.; Collector Size 3.5 in. OD; Length 12 in.; Hooker Adjustable race headers allow you to change your header primary tube lengths, collector lengths and diameters and collector types (Classic 4 into 1, Merged and Split-Flow). By altering the relationship between the primary length and collector diameter and length it is possible to increase or decrease the torque and horsepower output at any specific R.P.M. level. For a slick track the header primaries or collectors can be shortened to decrease the low end torque for better traction. Larger diameter collectors will also reduce low end torque. On a good track with lots of bite, extending the primaries or collectors will pick up bottom end power for a harder launch and awesome e.t.’s. Smaller collector diameters will also increase low end torque. Hooker adjustable headers have taken more Pro Stock drivers to the championship than any other brand.

Information:
Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers WILL result in damage to the coating and will VOID all warranties. Hooker recommends using cast iron exhaust manifolds or old headers during your engine break-in period to avoid damaging your coated damage. Please call Hooker tech service at 270-781-9741 for additional information regarding ceramic coated exhaust products. The use of header wraps can cause the header tubes to crack or rust due to excessive heat and moisture build-up. Hooker does not recommend the use of header wraps as this will void the warranty. Hooker long tube headers do not come with header reducers.
