BD Diamond Bite Shim Kit – Dodge 5.9L/6.7L 1994-2018 47RH / 47RE / 48RE / 68RFE even with correctly installed and torqued bolts! It only takes a small amount movement for the bolts to loosen and allow the flexplate to oscillate against the crankshaft causing costly and catastrophic damage to both parts. BD Diamond Bite Shims with a diamond embedded electroless nickel coating create a micro-bite between the flexplate surfaces giving a significant friction increase. This friction increase stops your flexplate from slipping, allowing it to handle the much higher torque loads expected from a diesel engine. Recommended for high output and heavy duty cummins 1994-up 5.9L/6.7L applications.
